Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients to identify their unique mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy utilizing secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platforms to ensure confidentiality and trust.
• Engage in collaborative goal-setting with clients, actively working with them to achieve their personal therapeutic objectives.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused approaches—to address clients' preferences and goals.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any necessary adjustments to therapy protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique mental health challenges. This includes individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders, among others. As a counselor, you will build rapport and empathy, fostering a safe therapeutic space that encourages clients to speak freely about their experiences. Cultural competence will be important as you adapt your approach to meet the varied needs of our client population.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license in Oregon as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of connecting with clients remotely and fostering an effective therapeutic alliance.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity in interactions with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and documentation efficiently in a remote setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing teletherapy or remote counseling in a community health setting.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and an ability to implement creative solutions for diverse client needs.
• Understanding of health insurance procedures and the ability to navigate electronic health records systems.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
