The Oregon State Hospital is currently seeking a Director of Organizational Strategy and Development. The Director of Organizational Strategy and Development leads the transformation of Oregon State Hospital into a purpose-driven forensic psychiatric institution, translating executive vision into actionable initiatives that improve safety, treatment quality, workforce readiness, and compliance. The role oversees public policy development, major projects, hospital operations governance, and executive reporting while guiding teams that execute these efforts across the organization. The director evaluates the impact of priority initiatives on achieving strategic goals, directs key public policy and organization-wide changes, advises leadership on strategy and risk, and ensures hospital priorities are clearly defined, aligned, and delivered from initiation through completion.

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration.

  • Five years of management experience.

  • Two years of management experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
