Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for helping individuals and families secure their financial future by offering tailored life and final expense solutions and ancillary products. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, assess individual needs, and provide personalized recommendations to ensure comprehensive protection.
Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Agent, you will play a crucial role in educating and guiding potential clients through the process of selecting the most suitable life insurance and ancillary products to meet their individual needs. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Client Education: Clearly communicate the features, benefits, and costs of various life insurance policies and supplemental products, ensuring potential clients fully understand their coverage options.
  • Needs-Based Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' financial situations, future goals, and protection needs to recommend personalized insurance solutions that provide adequate coverage.
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term client relationships by providing exceptional customer service, proactive follow-ups, and ongoing policy support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales processes and policy recommendations adhere to state and federal insurance regulations, maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Record-Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, policy applications, and coverage details, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Industry Knowledge & Development: Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes to better serve clients and remain competitive in the market.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in company training programs, certification courses, and licensing requirements to enhance skills and remain in compliance with state insurance regulations.

Additionally, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at management's discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Life Insurance License: Must hold a valid state-issued Life Insurance license
  • Sales & Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to connect with clients, explain complex products in an understandable way, and close sales effectively while maintaining a customer-first approach.
  • Self-Motivation & Goal-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work independently, set and achieve sales targets, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of sales and ability to generate revenue.
  • Comfortable operating in a metrics-driven environment with expectations around sales performance, and call compliance.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must be authorized to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
