Job description

Why This Role Matters:
The Agent Commission Services Representative position will be responsible for the processing of agent/agency commission and agent maintenance to ensure accurately and timely completion of agent transactions. This position's primary focus will be agent and agency commission handling but will also be required to assist with other types of transactions for agent maintenance. The position will be a part of the sales operations team supporting the new internal administrative platform.
How You'll Contribute:
  • This role will process and review agent and agency commission to determine if it is in good order. The Agent Commission Services Representatives will work directly with internal teams and agents/back offices to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • This position has a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
  • Process and review agent's commission are handled in a timely manner. This includes, but not limited to, entering the data into the system, checking for corrections.
  • Learning, retaining, and updating one's knowledge of a wide variety of financial product information and internal processes and procedures, while adhering to strict financial industry rules and regulations.
  • Assist with processing other types of maintenance and withdrawal transactions as needed.
  • Provide information regarding agent commissions and agent maintenance.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of agent commission or customer service experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within an office environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the annuity market, with specific focus on the fixed, fixed indexed and variable annuities.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The total compensation for this position ranges from $48,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $50,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001's benefits package.
