Career Opportunity: Community Impact Analyst with Cincinnati Development Fund in Cincinnati, OHAre you interested in a role that bridges data analysis and community impact? Do you enjoy working with both quantitative data and qualitative insights to tell meaningful stories? Are you motivated by community development and placebased impact work? As the Community Impact Analyst, you will join CDF's Strategy team to measure and communicate the impact of our lending work by combining data analysis and storytelling. You will analyze loanlevel and market data, engage borrowers through surveys and interviews, and compile impact stories that inform strategy and decisionmaking.

You will work closely with the lending, strategy/compliance/programs, and finance teams to ensure data integrity and produce impact reports that support stronger outcomes in underserved communities.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain accurate and consistent data across CDF's data collection systems.
  • Collect and analyze relevant external data from public sources to inform market and strategic decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams to define key performance indicators, track impact, and support strategic planning.
  • Analyze loan, project, and community data to assess the reach and effectiveness of CDF's investments.
  • Support grant applications, community engagement efforts, compliance reporting, and capital deployment with datadriven insights.
  • Design and administer surveys and conduct borrower interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Translate data into clear metrics, impact narratives, and insights for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to develop reports, presentations, and impact communications.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in urban planning, geography, GIS, economics, public policy, finance, communications, or similar.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (including internships).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
  • Experience working with socioeconomic or community development datasets (Census, ACS, HUD, BLS).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attentiontodetail skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across crossfunctional teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in equitable community and economic development.
  • Experience with research projects and impact measurement or social performance metrics, preferred.
  • GIS mapping and spatial analysis experience (ArcGIS, StoryMaps), preferred.
  • Experience with basic design tools such as Canva, preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Greater Cincinnati region and its housing, planning, and economic development landscape, preferred.
