This full-time remote position involves direct interaction with clients, as you assess their mental health needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments by meeting with clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify areas of concern.
  • Design and implement a tailored course of therapy that addresses the specific needs of individual clients, adapting methods as required based on ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain regular sessions with clients, providing ongoing support and equipping them with tangible tools and coping strategies for overcoming their challenges.
  • Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management is necessary or when further specialized care is warranted.
  • Document client progress meticulously within our electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate the latest evidence-based practices into therapy sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, ranging from adolescents to adults, with a wide array of presenting concerns including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and substance use issues. The selected candidate will be adept at delivering culturally responsive therapy, recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual to foster an inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic modalities suitable for various disorders.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, coupled with cultural competence in therapy.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with clients from various demographics.
Preferred Experience
