Work Environment

This role will operate within a remote outpatient setting facilitated by Crestpoint Counseling Center. While you will primarily work from your home office, regular virtual meetings will be scheduled to ensure support and collaboration with your peers and supervisors. Our technological framework includes telehealth platforms that are secure and user-friendly, allowing for seamless client interactions and comprehensive documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health through structured interviews and standardized tools.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that align with clients' specific therapeutic needs and personal goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques in individual, family, and group therapy settings, focusing on the integration of mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adapting treatment strategies based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention, ensuring safety and support for clients experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain organized and HIPAA-compliant documentation of all client interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to remain current with emerging trends and advances in the mental health field.
• Participate in supervision sessions to discuss cases and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Crestpoint Counseling Center, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, and relationship challenges. Our client-centered approach ensures that therapy is tailored to address the unique experiences and cultural backgrounds of each individual. You will play a critical role in facilitating clients’ journeys toward improved mental health, resilience, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (license types acceptable include LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
• Proficient clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a strong understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, compassion, and a genuine dedication to enhancing client well-being.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of ethical standards and laws governing the practice of mental health therapy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and networking within the mental health community.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.
• Experience with teletherapy practices and familiarity with telehealth systems.
• Evidence of specialization in specific treatment modalities (e.g., trauma-focused therapy, substance use counseling) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Crestpoint Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
