• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify and address barriers to treatment, thereby enhancing patients' health status and resource utilization.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans utilizing both individual and group therapy modalities tailored to patient needs.
• Regularly document all social work activity in patients' medical records in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring all patient information is accurate and up to date.
• Provide supportive consultation to medical and support staff regarding patients' psychosocial functioning, which promotes better treatment compliance and care coordination.
• Educate patients and their families about medical and social work recommendations to promote acceptance and restore optimal functioning.
• Advocate for patients' needs within the community, focusing on enhancing social support and available resources for self-determination.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant community resources and integrate these into patient care as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training and educational opportunities to continually enhance clinical skills.
• Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics and departmental policies to ensure high standards of care and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Engage in reflective practice to continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to therapy as needed.

The LCSW will work closely with individuals seeking detoxification and mental health support. Our patient population includes diverse backgrounds and needs, and it is crucial that our therapists apply culturally sensitive practices to support each patient’s unique healing process. The LCSW will be instrumental in building therapeutic alliances and fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to recovery.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, combined with a current License from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• Demonstrated understanding of the principles of human development, aging processes, and cultural consideration in therapy practices.

• At least one year of relevant clinical experience, ideally in a mental health or healthcare setting, with a focus on populations similar to those served in the detox center.
• Experience employing evidence-based treatment modalities and familiarity with integrated care approaches is highly desirable.
• An understanding of the specific needs faced by patients undergoing detoxification and the ability to address these through effective therapeutic interventions.

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, reflecting the importance of the role and the expertise required.
