Description
About Buildots
Buildots is the world's most advanced construction intelligence platform. By comparing schedules and BIM against site reality, its advanced AI transforms granular data into insights that unlock operational excellence.
Fortune 500 contractors and owners trust Buildots, including Turner Construction, JE Dunn, Intel, STO Building Group and Mortenson. Its impact is proven at every scale, from multi-family projects to multi-gigawatt data centers.
About the Role
The position is responsible for overseeing the deployment and day-to-day success of Buildots on a select few major client projects. You will guide teams through platform adoption, support site operations, and ensure our technology is effectively integrated into project workflows. This role requires strong technical acumen, client-facing skills, and a proactive approach to optimizing project performance.
This position operates across projects in Texas (and Central US), and requires 80% travel. The ideal candidate lives within a 30 mile radius of major airports in Austin, Dallas or Houston. If you're unable to travel, please consider applying for a role that aligns more closely with your needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the primary relationship owner and day-to-day point of contact for some of Buildots' largest client projects
  • Lead full platform implementation - from onboarding and training to deep workflow integration
  • Proactively identify ways to maximize value for the client, making Buildots central to how their teams operate
  • Partner with internal project managers to configure the platform around the real complexities of each project
  • Gather on-the-ground insights from clients and feed them directly to our product team to shape the roadmap
  • Ensure your clients don't just use the platform - they succeed with it

Requirements:
  • 7+ years in construction as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Engineer - you know where the inefficiencies live and have worked on large scale commercial or mission critical construction projects
  • Self-starter who spots a problem, owns it, and solves it without waiting to be told
  • Equally comfortable in a hard hat on a job site and presenting to a senior client stakeholder over video
  • A fast learner who picks up new tools quickly and communicates complex ideas clearly
  • Strong people skills - you leave every interaction, regardless of role or culture, with people feeling good about working with you
  • Genuinely excited about what technology can do for the construction industry, not just curious about
  • Energized by travel and being where the work actually happens
  • A natural at turning data and feedback into actionable insights
  • Good vibes and a sense of humor - non-negotiable
  • Location & Travel: Texas (Remote):
  • This position operates across projects in Texas (and Central US), and requires 80% travel.
  • The ideal candidate lives within a 30 mile radius of major airports in Austin, Dallas or Houston.
  • If you're unable to travel, please consider applying for a role that aligns more closely with your needs.

Preferred:
  • Construction Mission Critical experience (Data Center, Aviation, or Healthcare)
  • Superintendent on complex construction projects who led process and/or technology implementation
  • VDC Manager experience

We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you professionally and personally:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match
  • Paid time off (vacation and sick leave)
  • Stock-option grants
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Commuter benefits
  • Pet insurance
  • Voluntary life insurance
