This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while engaging primarily with a diverse patient population in a community health clinic environment.

As part of our remote team based in Eugene, Oregon, you will collaborate with a multicultural group of health care professionals dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services. While primarily operating remotely, our clinic's communal focus on cultural competency ensures that team members can engage in collaborative meetings, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of some flexibility to meet patient needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account each patient's cultural background, life experiences, and individual circumstances to form personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs, utilizing modalities that honor their cultural identity.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns, enhancing coping strategies, and promoting overall resilience and well-being.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure coordinated care and information sharing within the multidisciplinary team.
• Respond to mental health crises by providing prompt and effective support, ensuring that patients receive immediate care during emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and the resources available within the community to empower them throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to ensure that all team members are unified in their approach to care.
• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in the mental health field to enhance service quality.

Our practice is specifically focused on serving a rich tapestry of individuals, including those from diverse ethnic backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations. Your ability to connect and develop rapport with clients from varied backgrounds will be critical in offering tailored care that respects their individuality and cultural nuances.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of Oregon is required.
• A robust understanding of various mental health disorders and treatment approaches, grounded in cultural competence.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner, with a focus on inclusivity.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, maintaining composure while effectively managing challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a track record of establishing positive rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and relevant computer applications to support patient care.
• A commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Previous experience working with a diverse patient population, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and other specialized methodologies in mental health therapy.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development through workshops, trainings, or additional certifications.
