Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

PIC Mental Health provides behavioral health services to clients across the lifespan. PIC Mental Health is looking for a compassionate Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is licensed in New York State. We are a small privately owned business looking for a provider who is passionate and committed to excellent mental health care. Our goal is to provide patient centered and evidence-based care to patients throughout New York.

Job Description:

- Conduct intake and follow up appointment for medication management and therapy practices to individuals with varying diagnoses

- Conduct mental health evaluations and implement treatment plans which providing a therapeutic, environment and using evidence-based practice

Your Qualifications and Requirements

- Board Certified by the ANCC as a PMHNP who is able to work independently in New York State

- Current and valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York

- Ability to obtain and maintain active and unrestricted license and DEA number

- Two years of experience as a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing patient care and treatment in a clinical setting

- Safe, secure remote work location from which telehealth appointments can be conducted privately, securely, and confidentially

- Consistent and reliable internet connectivity

- Reliable laptop or personal computer device

You must also demonstrate:

- Passion for high quality care, excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills while documenting proficiently

- Openness to continue to grow clinical knowledge through continued education

- Independence, good judgment, reliability, and professionalism

- Good verbal and written communication skills, including with patients and team members
