Position: Cognitive Neurologist - Full-Time Academic

Our organization is actively looking for a Cognitive Specialist to enhance our exceptional Academic Neurology department and vibrant team. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and eligible for licensure in Louisiana. Leadership roles are available for those who qualify.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional clinical care to patients suffering from neurological disorders.

  • Educate medical students and neurology residents through supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic sessions.

  • Engage in departmental initiatives and support the development of the Dementia program.

  • Offer mentorship and clinical guidance to faculty and residents.

  • Manage a substantial patient load with opportunities for leadership. Louisiana ranks fifth in the nation for Alzheimer's mortality, and North Louisiana faces a significant disease burden, presenting a chance to become a leading expert in this field.
