Principal Program Manager, Informatics (Remote)- Job Summary
The Principal Program Manager, Informatics provides strategic leadership for complex, enterprise-wide informatics initiatives that integrate clinical operations, data systems, and technology solutions. This role drives the planning, execution, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT and clinical informatics programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and measurable business value. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in program management, systems development, Lean-Agile practices, and organizational change leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree and 15 years of related experience
    (OR Bachelor's degree and 20 years of related experience.)
  • Extensive experience as a program manager in a clinical informatics environment, overseeing a wide range of IT projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of products and projects, with strong knowledge of:
    • Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Enterprise-wide network engineering
    • Strategic information planning
    • Business process reengineering
    • Program structure and management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, and manage programs to defined cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with SAFe® Lean Agile principles and practices, with the ability to drive value delivery, operational excellence, and sustainable organizational change through high-performing Agile teams.
  • Strong leadership in managing diverse IT projects and portfolios, maintaining oversight of cost, schedule, and performance across all assigned initiatives.
