Vitality Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our vibrant and innovative child and adolescent psychiatry team. This full-time position will allow you to utilize your expertise in a remote telehealth setting, providing valuable mental health services to young individuals and their families in Hillsboro, Oregon. Work Environment

As a remote mental health professional, you will engage in telehealth practices, interfacing with patients from the comfort of your own home while contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and challenges of children and adolescents, using standardized tools and clinical judgment.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that account for individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural factors.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to effectively address mental health concerns.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and guide parents and caregivers, ensuring they are equipped to foster a supportive and nurturing environment for their children.
  • Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members, maintaining a coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency support to children and adolescents facing acute mental health challenges.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available resources in the community.
  • Ensure accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Actively engage in team meetings and case consultations, and pursue professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is dedicated to providing mental health care for children and adolescents, a population that requires a nuanced approach to address the complexities of their emotional and psychological development. You will work with individuals facing a diverse range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
  • In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy specifically to young clients.
