Mental Pathway Counseling and Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized support programs to assist clients in overcoming personal challenges and dependencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews with clients to evaluate their current situation, emotional state, and specific needs while identifying strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop measurable, tailored goals for each client, continually assessing their progress to modify treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Provide counseling and guidance during sessions, equipping clients with valuable coping tools and resources.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of client progress, behaviors, and interventions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in case conferences with other professionals and provide relevant testimony in court when necessary.
  • Act as the primary case worker for assigned clients, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and services to support clients in their recovery journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology, or Sociology is required. A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut is required.
  • Prior experience in a clinical social work setting is essential; demonstrated ability to engage, assess, and guide individuals effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven work experience as a Social Worker, particularly in school or community-based settings, is highly advantageous.
