• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients.
• Develop individualized service plans that encompass specific goals, intervention strategies, and methods for monitoring progress.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to youth and families facing various life challenges, drawing upon evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized service plans and effectively connect them with valuable community resources.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Work with community agencies to coordinate interdisciplinary services and advocate for clients' needs.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote our agency's services within schools and the wider community.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional training to enhance skills and stay informed about best practices.

This position primarily serves students and families within a school setting who may be dealing with mental health issues, behavioral challenges, or psychosocial stressors. You will play a crucial role in fostering a safe environment for young individuals, promoting emotional well-being, and facilitating access to appropriate resources. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Proficient in developing therapeutic relationships and creating safe spaces for clients to express themselves.

• Previous experience in a school-based counseling setting or with youth populations is highly desirable.

• Experience utilizing collaborative approaches to care and service delivery, emphasizing teamwork.
