Job Summary and Qualifications
The Case Management Dept. Secretary is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Director of Case Management, Manager of Case Management and the Case Management Department staff and is primarily responsible to coordinate the front office functions. Provides administrative support, data processing and integration of financial, medical staff and records data as a case management function. Responsibilities include handling incoming and outgoing department calls; coordinating schedules for meetings and events; taking minutes in staff meetings, assisting in special projects; ordering and maintaining office supplies; and interfacing with internal and external vendors. Responsible for timely processing of all departmental invoices. This position ensures the effective functioning and coordination of the main Case M Management office which serves as the entry point of patients, families, physicians and other customers and community representatives. This role includes ensuring that information is consistent and accurate in various computer programs, coordinating the information with various personnel and supporting the functions of Case Management to support the Case Management staff to support various hospital functions.
Education and Exp

  • 3-5 years Health Care Setting Preferred
  • Previous secretarial experience required Required
