Job Description
About the role: We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst whose key responsibility will be to act a primary point of contact between the business and our IT reporting group and work closely with our external clients to understand reporting needs. In this role, the Data Analyst will work closely with legal teams to develop detailed business requirements and will then design reporting specifications to support these requirements.
If you have superb Excel skills, have an analytical mindset and are a strong self-starter, this role is for you! Legal knowledge in the immigration field is required.

How will you make a difference as a Senior Business Data Analysis Specialist at Fragomen?
  • Serve as a reporting case analyst ensuring all cases are moving in a timely manner in accordance with process and client SLAs.
  • Create and update process guides to improve report monitoring.
  • Analyze several layered reports including start date/EAD/Document and disseminate direction to team and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Build forecast models to anticipate team and client growth.
  • Analyze data points to identify bottlenecks and advise on innovative solutions
  • Provide reporting support to attorneys, paralegals and clients relating to the tracking, preparation, and filing of immigration petitions and applications
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from legal teams and clients
  • Formulate technical specifications for new reports based on business requirements
  • Communicate regularly with team supervisors regarding reporting requirements and data integrity questions
  • Verify specialized and / or new reports for accuracy
  • Identify modifications that need to be made to current reports to accommodate data from the firm's case management application
  • Monitor and coordinate the handling of new and pending reporting requests, to ensure satisfaction of requirements and timely delivery

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
  • BS or BA degree required
  • Minimum three years of experience providing business analysis or data analytics
  • At least three years of experience providing reporting support in a professional office environment using SAP Business Objects/Web Intelligence (WEBI)
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools a plus
  • Basic understanding of web-based data driven technologies
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written is a MUST
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills to both internal and external clients
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience in handling multiple deliverables efficiently
  • Strong organization skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic understanding of business immigration law preferred

Compensation:
The salary range for this role reflects a variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. Placement within the range will vary based on these factors, and compensation decisions are made to ensure internal equity and alignment with market data.
A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is:
$78,000.00 - $94,000.00
