Job description

Skillforce is seeking highly skilled carpenters for a long term project in West Memphis, AR. This position is working 40-50 hours/week and pay is up to $28 depending upon experience. Ideal candidates are well-rounded tradespeople with strong finish skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires versatility across multiple phases of remodeling work.


Responsibilities
  • Perform trim carpentry, including base, casing, crown molding, and finish work

  • Hang interior and exterior doors, including hardware installation

  • Complete drywall repairs and patching, texture matching preferred

  • Painting and surface preparation (walls, trim, doors, touch-ups)

  • Assist with general remodeling tasks on office and residential projects

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite

  • Read and follow project plans, scopes of work, and instructions

  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards




  • Qualifications
    • Proven experience in remodeling and trim carpentry

    • Strong knowledge of finish work, doors, drywall, and painting

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision

    • Skilled with hand and power tools

    • Reliable transportation and tools preferred

    • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor as required


Requirements:
