Integrion Automation is focused on growing our position in the manufacturing automation industry by delivering world-class automation solutions to our clients - on time and on budget. We are currently seeking a full-time, remote Business Development Manager - Transportation to join our team. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Applications.
TheBusiness Development Manager - Transportation will be responsible for driving business growth within the Automotive OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier, and Aerospace sectors. This role will focus heavily on prospecting and developing new client relationships while also managing opportunities, supporting existing accounts, and expanding current business partnerships. This is a fully remote position with travel as needed to support customer and business development activities.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
โ€ข Market research and identification of target accounts in key target industry sub-segments and actively reaching out to prospective client contacts.
โ€ข Communicate Integrion value proposition to clients through presentations.
โ€ข Develop an understanding of client needs through consultative selling approach.
โ€ข Opportunity qualification
โ€ข Maintenance of the sales CRM throughout the sales cycle.
Opportunity Management
โ€ข Manage and lead opportunities utilizing the Integrion sales process.
โ€ข Work with the client to gather all information needed by our Applications Engineering team to develop the proposal.
โ€ข Develop and execute the opportunity win strategy with input from applications engineering and management.
โ€ข Facilitate feedback from the client.
โ€ข Contract negotiations.
โ€ข Maintain and monitor bookings forecast.
Account Management
โ€ข Maintain regular contact and obtain feedback from the client through the course of the project/program.
โ€ข Develop an Account Plan to understand client broader business needs and opportunities to serve them across multi-site/business units.
โ€ข Work with our Services group to ensure long term client success through understanding their service and support needs and providing corresponding services offerings.
Qualifications:
โ€ข An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
โ€ข Minimum 5 years of experience in selling custom automated solutions.
โ€ข Strong preference to candidates with experience in the automotive and aerospace industries
โ€ข Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข A highly motivated self-starter.
โ€ข Willingness to travel within North America, up to 50% of the time.
