Superior County Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to provide essential counseling services from the comfort of your home while also maintaining regular communication with colleagues through digital platforms. You will be part of a vibrant team that emphasizes collaboration and professional support, engaging in virtual team meetings and consultations to ensure cohesive client care. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clientsโ€™ mental health status, recognizing symptoms and establishing diagnosis.
  • Develop tailored therapy plans that align with clientsโ€™ individual goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.
  • Implement specialized behavioral strategies to promote client engagement and facilitate their progress during therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate, organized electronic documentation of clinical notes, treatment plans, and client progress as per HIPAA regulations.
  • Actively pursue ongoing professional development and engage in regular supervision to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients will be paramount in ensuring they feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working towards positive outcomes.

Qualifications
