• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to craft individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities, to foster resilience and positive change in your clients.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards by maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic care that draws on varying areas of expertise.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous professional development and quality assurance.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them throughout their treatment journey.
• Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the mental health field to integrate into your therapeutic work.

The client population at New Foundation Behavioral Health is diverse, encompassing individuals who experience a wide range of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and severe mental illnesses. Our goal is to meet clients where they are and address their varied needs through tailored therapeutic approaches. Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is vital in helping these individuals navigate their struggles and find pathways to recovery and wellness.

• Must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.
• Strong skills in applying solution-focused psychotherapy techniques that customize approach based on individual client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking to effectively manage complex client situations.
• Ability to thrive in a remote team environment, valuing collaboration and shared growth.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in telehealth, is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous to manage and maintain client data efficiently.
