As a Mental Health Counselor at Creekview Behavioral Health, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals and mental health needs.
• Providing evidence-based individual therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to foster clients' growth and recovery.
• Setting therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly tracking their progress to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Offering flexible teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients facing accessibility challenges or preferring virtual options.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure accountability and continuity of care.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated with the latest practices in mental health counseling and to enhance your skills.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members alike.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients from all backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle caseload effectively without compromising client care.

We value experience in various counseling modalities, particularly in teletherapy or remote counseling environments. Candidates with prior experience providing therapy to patients with anxiety, trauma, or depression will be highly regarded.
