Business Systems Analyst

What you'll do:

The Business Systems Analyst has 2 primary responsibilities. 1 - Collects, clarifies and translates business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developed to maximize the technological capabilities of business products. 2 - Deal administration including but not limited to Review and Setup of line of business transactions, Capitalization Tables and Funds Flow. This position helps drive efficiencies and productivity by identifying technological upgrades and enhancements. The Business Systems Analyst is an active thought partner and application visionary that shapes the technology demand among the business community.
  • Research and understand needs of the business to maximize technological capabilities within business products
  • Assess business technology needs to identify and recommend improvements
  • Create and maintain web interfaces and dashboard designs
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify, document and report defects, ensuring that software applications meet business requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise as internal technology support for application and linkages between technology
  • Provide deal administration support and handle problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Integrate software-based workflow technology into the internal and external product platforms

What you'll need:

  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in application testing skills to be able to create test cases and for documentation.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to create pivot tables, perform XLOOKUPs, use conditional logic, compare data, and banking applications.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
