Rolling Wireless is an international company with 20+ years of experience in developing cellular modems and software for the

automotive market. We are the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems worldwide to the automotive industry.

Working at Rolling Wireless is joining a multicultural team at a high-growth organization.


Position / Assignment Purpose:

We are looking for a Certification Support Test Engineer who will play critical role in certifying our wireless module products. Working with carriers/operators and 3rd Party Labs in the North American region and in supporting our customers during their product certification process. You will work with carriers/operators, test labs and with the engineering teams based in Europe and other overseas locations, to complete certification testing activities in labs or in the field. You will help define the test campaign, remote and field testing, collect logs, troubleshoot issues and create test reports. Provide guidance to Developement or RnD members to constently improve quality of SW and HW. You should be able to work both independently and as a team member.


Position / Assignment Summary:

The responsibilities of the certification support engineer includes:
1. Secure our product to get the world wide carriers approval smoothly and on time;
2. Support certification pre-testing, field testing, remote and mobile testing.


Key Accountabilities / Statement of Work:

- Assessing regulatory, industry and global network operator certification and testing requirements

for Automotive, PC Module, and IoT products to demonstrate conformance.
- Interface with varous carrier labs, and certification bodies to attain product certification.
- Ensure product customizations and configurations are accurate and correct.
- Issue resolution tracking and assist with debugging support and resolution.


Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor Degree, preferably in Telecommunication or Communication Engineering
2. Experience with cellular wireless communication technologies(5G NR /4G-LTE /3G, 36/38 series of 3GPP);
3. Experience working directly with testing laboratories required, testing tools, in addtion to Field Testing preferred;
4. At least 2 years' relevant experience in software/firmware development or validation for IoT/PC Module/Automotive/Handset products, with skills in Debug Tools such as QXDM etc.
5. Available for travel, sometime on short notice within US Market


Required Skills and Competencies:

Effective communication skills interfacting with different 3rd party labs and managing project interdependencies is essential.
