Job Overview

The Director- Agri Business is responsible for establishing and executing on overall performance and objectives for the company’s agri business insurance division. This includes but is not limited to the development of growth and production goals, ensuring profitability by establishing underwriting rules and guidelines, overseeing business development opportunities with appointed agencies, execution on underwriting file self-reviews, and the education and development program of the agribusiness organization. This position is the leader of a team of remote and office employees throughout the states of operation- CA, NV, AZ, WA, and OR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of agribusiness underwriting handling experience
  • Must have 5 years people management experience with proven ability to lead a team
  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal
  • An ability to quickly learn and apply acquired knowledge essential to the position
  • CPCU and AFIS designation preferred

Salary Range: $138,022.00 - $230,038.00

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as benefits and bonus programs.
