About Bitnomial:
Bitnomial is building the next generation US-based global derivatives exchange, starting with digital assets and progressively expanding to encompass a full spectrum of commodities worldwide. Bitnomial operates a US CFTC regulated exchange (DCM), clearinghouse (DCO), and brokerage (FCM). Bitnomial offers the Bitcoin Complex comprising physically delivered Bitcoin Futures, Options, Deci Futures, and Hashrate Futures used by brokers, hedge funds, institutions, and trading firms around the world.
About the Role:
We are hiring Weekend Operations Specialists to monitor and support exchange operations during weekend hours. This is a part-time, remote position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a growing regulated exchange. We are hiring multiple people for this role.
Responsibilities:
Monitor exchange systems and operations during weekend shifts, identifying and escalating issues as they arise.
Communicate effectively with on-call engineers and other team members to resolve operational incidents.
Execute scheduled operational tasks, ensuring they run smoothly and without error.
Monitor logs and dashboards to identify and troubleshoot operational issues in real time.
Provide clear, timely status updates during incidents or unusual market activity.
Document operational events and contribute to post-incident reviews.
Required Skills & Experience:
We are looking for teammates who share our vision and mission: bringing US regulated, margined and cleared, physically delivered bitcoin futures and options products to the world.
Looking For:
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Comfort working independently during weekend hours with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and dashboards (Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or similar).
Basic understanding of financial markets, exchanges, or trading operations.
Experience in operations, NOC, technical support, or a similar role is a plus.
Military, security, or emergency response background is valued.
Bonus Skills & Experience:
Experience in the trading industry or exchange/clearing business.
Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.
Understanding of cryptocurrency or digital asset markets.
Compensation & Benefits:
