Job Description

** Personnel will** support the Fires Battle Lab (FBL), Ft. Sill, OK. in the areas of simulation software development, experimentation and ongoing operational support.

** Personnel Must:**

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university which demonstrates knowledge of computer system design, data and message element design, communications data transmission, security, data storage, and system software documentation to review and evaluate tactical automated systems.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year experience with high-level architecture (HLA) model or Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) model and simulation (M&S) environments.
  • Have One (1) year experience in simulation data development and implementation (scenarios, force structures, fires systems, sensor systems, ammunitions).
  • Have One (1) year experience in FireSim XXI integrations with live tactical C4ISR systems, especially AFATDS, FBCB2, counterfire radars to support training. One (1) year experience with live training M&S integration processes.
  • Have One (1) year r experience in AFATDS operations, M&S networking, and usage of Linux Operating System.
  • Have experience developing and maintaining manuals to include but not limited to user interface, software system specific database development and simulation interoperability,
  • Possess, at a minimum, SECRET clearance.
  • Be able to develop and execute software test plans and procedures for software and scenario validation.
