Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.
  • Experience with bench test equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators.
  • Component identification and replacement skills.
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform component-level diagnosis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) using schematics, test procedures, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers to isolate faults to specific components.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Perform continuity checks, voltage measurements, and signal tracing on populated circuit boards.
  • Identify defective resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, and connectors.
  • Document repairs using depot-level maintenance procedures.
  • Work at an electronics repair bench with ESD controls.

Nice to Have:

  • Heavy background in electrical testing and debugging.
  • Military avionics maintenance background (2M, AT, AE, 94F MOS).
  • Experience with military displays (AMLCD, CRT, LED).
  • Security clearance (active or ability to obtain).

  • Computer Skills Required.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualification And Education:

  • Electronics Technology degree or certificate from technical school, or military electronics training (avionics, radar, communications), or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics repair/manufacturing.
