Job description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (INSTRUCTOR), Position Description Number PDD2300000 and PDD2309000and is part of the WY 153rd Operations Group, Wyoming Air National Guard.
This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

Qualifications:AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows:
Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 OG.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Area 6: Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

MILITARY GRADE
Min: E-6/TSgt
Max: E-8/SMSgt
Enlisted applicant's military grade cannot exceed the maximum military grade authorized. Over-grade applicants must provide a written demotion statement of understanding with application, willingness to be administratively reduced in grade (E-8/SMSgt) if selected for this position.
Applicants' under or that over-grade, without a written demotion statement of understanding, will not be considered for this vacancy. Acceptance of this position does not in any way constitute a military promotion.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Loadmasters plan and direct the loading distribution, arid securing of cargo in aircraft. Loadmaster instructors perform the above duties and conduct classroom and flight training in aircraft loading.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and offloading aircraft, operating loading equipment, and ensuring security of cargo in flight.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
GS-8: Must possess experience, education or training performing weight and balance computations, cargo loading planning and security, directing cargo or personnel loading and off-loading operations. Knowledge of rules for hazardous cargo transport. Experience performing aircraft inspections to determine aircraft airworthiness.
GS-9: Must be instructor qualified and possess experience regarding capacities and limits of the various stations and compartments of the aircraft; aircraft cargo safety; aircraft flight manuals; and training personnel in the build-up, loading and rigging of the different aircraft cargo combinations to include airdrop of equipment and supplies.
NOTE: Minimum and Specialized Experience Requirements will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Must possess AFSC 1A152N or 1A172N, Mobility Force Aviator (or able to obtain 1A172N within one year of appointment to position)
DRIVER'S LICENSE:
