Job Description:

The Information Technology (ITG) division of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Analyst III. The Application Support Analyst III position is responsible for providing dedicated support to customers and ensures efficient and effective utilization of Filing Solutions applications. This is a full-time remote position. Residency within a 100-mile radius of the office Kansas City, MO is required.

Responsibilities Include

  • Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of implementation projects, including analysis and progress monitoring.
  • Manage customer onboarding, contracts, troubleshooting, setup, and post-production support.
  • Support application testing and software upgrades, documenting results across environments.
  • Write advanced database queries for updates, corrections, and reporting.
  • Develop training materials, trains staff and create presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist with product support, user testing, training issues, and maintain accurate communication records in the ticketing system.

Management Responsibilities

This position does not have direct reports.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of position related to progressive professional, individual contributor experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries.

Preferred Experience

Certification in technical support and/or customer service.

Systems & Technology Requirements

Microsoft 365, including advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Slack; Jira.

Travel

This position requires regular, out-of-state, overnight travel in support of member meetings and events throughout the year. Must be able and willing to travel to locations throughout the United States and with such frequency as necessary to meet the needs of this position and the Association.

Compensation

$56,000- $84,000, commensurate with education and experience.
