About the role
Concept Plus is seeking an Application Support Engineer to be responsible for supporting the sustainment of Applications/Services providing the backend administration and support in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This program provides a comprehensive set of services to support multiple customers in a multitenant enclave. The focus is customers whose primary application is Oracle EBS, supporting their users as well as interface trading partners. The services range from cloud-based infrastructure to development/testing services to operations services, with a focus on multitenancy wherever possible. Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts.
What you'll do
The App Support Engineer may plan, design, develop, migrate, install, or implement various technology products, or enhance computer programs. This individual applies knowledge of software and programming to deploy or migrate and test applications and produce the necessary outcome for clients. Roles and responsibilities included but are not limited too:
  • Support acceptance testing of applications in target cloud environment
  • Support application bug fix for migration-related application defects
  • Structure and coordinate with application functional owners for the required testing of applications prior to, during, and post migration
  • Report and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application migration activities
  • Determine the Definition of Ready for work items to be slotted into a Sprint activities
  • Deliver working software or acceptable deliverables in every iteration/activities
  • Help the Product Owner break larger work items (Epics, User Stories) into smaller User Stories based on functionality activities
  • Estimate Product Backlog items (Epics, User Stories), Decompose User Stories into smaller, actionable Tasks, Estimate Tasks during Sprint Planning, Commit to Sprint delivery based on the Definition of Done, Adhere to the Definition of Done activities
  • Report daily status & impediments during Daily Stand-Up activities
  • Escalate impediments, Frequent (daily) communication with and demonstration of progress to the Product Owner activities
  • Maintain all boards (Scrum) activities
  • Maintain project management tool (JIRA)
  • Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills

Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship Required
  • T3/T5 (TS / TS SCI w/Poly) - Fully Cleared Only, must confirm clearance is active
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5+ years' practical experience
  • Must have administration experience with at least two of the following applications: ALM Octane, UFT, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, ReadyAPI, CyberArk, VMWare/Horizon
  • Proficient in installing and configuration application client tools on VDI Images and Pools
  • Must have strong experience with Oracle Linux or RHEL operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with STIG compliance using preferably Evaluate-STIG, Mitre SAF Heimdall, or equivalent
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving application Applications connectivity and integrations issues
  • Experience configuring load balancing for Applications
  • Knowledge of SAML/SSO authentication and application level configuration for identity integrations
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for application and integration issues
  • Create a management plan, validates sizing, and forecasted sizing
  • Manage and safeguard licenses, keys, and other sensitive secrets within an approved vaulting solution
  • Experience producing and maintaining CDRL documentation
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+
