Your primary focus will be on serving students and their families, many of whom may be experiencing educational-related stress, developmental challenges, or mental health issues. You will have the chance to work with a diverse clientele, providing culturally competent care that respects and understands the unique backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to ensure a solid foundation in practice.
  • A valid Pennsylvania state license (LCSW) demonstrating your capacity to practice independently in a therapeutic setting.
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion in your practice, along with a commitment to continuous learning regarding cultural competence.
  • Proven experience in delivering therapy to individuals, couples, or families, highlighting the ability to adapt methodologies to various client needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaborative work with both clients and team members effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting case materials and correspondence with stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of post-Master's experience providing clinical therapy in mental health settings.
  • Experience working within educational environments or with school-aged populations is highly preferred.
