Customer Support Specialist

Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote)
Job Type: Contract
Work Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Bill Rate: $23.97/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to support the Property Management team within the Tower division. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting landlords and internal stakeholders, handling high-volume inquiries, processing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong data entry abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound customer and landlord calls professionally.
  • Research, resolve, or route inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Monitor and triage the team's shared email inbox.
  • Receive, log, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence.
  • Upload leases, amendments, renewal notices, landlord notifications, vendor changes, and related documents into Salesforce.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain documentation records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Respond to non-property-related inquiries when appropriate.
  • Process all incoming correspondence within one business day.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of customer service, call center, or customer support experience.
  • Strong data entry and administrative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette with strong active listening abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Administrative experience in a high-volume office environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Document management or records administration experience.
