CBG Surveying Texas is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist, Tier-One to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Garland, Texas, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As the first point of contact for our clients, this entry-level role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily operations.

This is a high-volume phone position. The primary responsibility of this role is answering inbound customer calls throughout the workday. The Customer Support Specialist is expected to be available by phone for most of each day, assisting customers, processing requests, and ensuring every interaction reflects CBG's commitment to outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact by answering a high volume of inbound customer calls throughout the workday.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer questions, processing requests, providing project updates, preparing quotes, and assisting with general inquiries.
  • Enter customer orders, prepare quotes, and maintain accurate project documentation in Striven.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately and completely.
  • Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate Project Coordinator.
  • Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of customer requests.
  • Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a high-volume customer service, call center, receptionist, or office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
