• Provide individualized psychotherapy to patients navigating mental health challenges related to substance abuse.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that include solution-focused interventions.
• Administer a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically designed for substance use recovery.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation and records in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health resources and strategies for managing substance use disorders.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health treatment to enhance service delivery.
• Effectively manage a caseload while working to meet treatment goals and uphold the highest ethical standards in practice.

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with various forms of substance abuse and accompanying mental health conditions. You'll engage with a diverse range of clients, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to their unique circumstances, cultural backgrounds, and specific needs. This role is crucial in supporting them during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in substance abuse therapy.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of solution-focused interventions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Experience working in a substance abuse treatment environment will be highly regarded. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and community resources available for substance abuse recovery is also preferred.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
