Job description

We love our interns! Every school has different requirements of their students, and we work with you and your school to ensure that you gain the knowledge and experience needed to be successful in your chosen field. We have different mental/behavioral health options for you, depending on your interests: Children's Residential Center, Foster Care and Outpatient Counseling.

Depending on your interest and location, internships can be located in Ashland, Richland, Stark or Wayne Counties in Ohio.

Rewards:

  • PAID internship, depending on education level and department
  • Priority for open positions upon graduation/achievement of LSW/LPC

Requirements:

  • Interns are required to be in a Bachelor's or Master's level license-eligible social work/counseling program. Priority given to Master's level students.
  • Job offers (upon graduation) contingent upon achievement of LSW or LPC.

Please indicate in your cover letter what you plan to do with your counseling/social work degree, the type of supervision you will need, AND the area in which you would prefer to focus your internship.

Please understand that most of the trainings will be 1st shift and are state required.

Candidates must be 19 or older to apply. References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Must have valid Ohio Driver's License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable. EOE.


This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of all of the following: background checks (fingerprints required), drug test, reference checks, Department of Justice National sex offender search, Ohio (and other states of residence) Alleged Perpetrator Search, as well as other checks as required by our licensing agency.

Candidates for most jobs must be 21 or older to apply. References, background checks, and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Direct care positions will require a pre-employment physical, as required by our licensing agency. Must be able to commute reliably for all on-site positions. Some roles require a valid Ohio driver's license and an insurable driving record. EOE.
