We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Marketing Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role serves as the central point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, skilled at managing competing priorities, and passionate about driving operational excellence in marketing.

Success in this role means consistently delivering marketing initiatives on schedule, collaborating across teams, proactively resolving challenges, and helping to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing operations.


Role responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end marketing projects from planning through execution and post-launch evaluation.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, creative, compliance, data, product, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure marketing assets and deliverables meet brand standards and quality expectations.
  • Maintain project documentation, workflows, and reporting using project management tools.
  • Proactively evaluates and recommends enhancements to increase efficiencies from AI to new software solutions.


Requirements

Role requirements: 

  • Proven project management experience within a marketing team, in house agency or within a creative agency.
  • Proficiency with leading project management platforms. 
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Agile certification.
  • Experience working with creative teams, digital marketing campaigns, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and analytics tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and is comfortable leading and presenting project updates.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and vendor partnerships.
  • Has a love for marketing and wants to be a part of a wonderful team and credit union helping North Carolinians thrive.

Experience & education requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, project management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
