Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the authorization and payment process by collaborating with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department to facilitate seamless client admissions and discharges.
  • Lead discharge planning from the moment of admission, ensuring that all clients have a clear understanding of their transition plans and available resources before they leave care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during therapy sessions, helping clients navigate challenging circumstances effectively while partnering with milieu staff.
  • Ensure timely and thorough clinical documentation throughout the treatment journey, with a focus on completing necessary paperwork at the time of service.
  • Establish strong therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, actively assessing for any risks of harm to self or others.
  • Conduct intake assessments and facilitate the admission process for new patients, presenting them with a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings, communicating treatment goals and collaborating with other team members to provide continuous quality care.
  • Deliver utilization reviews to insurance companies, ensuring that appropriate clinical information is provided for initial authorizations and continued care.
  • Maintain strong communication with family members or loved ones, ensuring all inquiries are returned promptly, within a two-hour timeframe during business operations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of clients, each with unique needs and challenges. Our patient population encompasses individuals facing various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. Your role will involve addressing these diverse needs through tailored therapeutic approaches and effective treatment planning, ensuring that every client feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An independent mental health license in the state where you reside, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with clients and other stakeholders.
  • A proven passion for improving lives through impactful mental health care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience managing a diverse caseload and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support staff.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
