At Seashore Senior Living, we have an immediate opening for a Wellness Coordinator position.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the Health & Wellness Director in all ways
Maintain medical records and required documentation under state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and standard operating procedures and policies.
Assess residents for changes in the level of care, and medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
Coordinate medications for residents, order refills, and fax new orders
Perform cart audits to be sure medication carts are kept in compliance
Work closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate Plans of Care.
Monitor staffing schedules and assist to secure replacements for absences.
Supervise and assign work for caregivers.
Maintain strong communication with family members of residents.
Monitoring response times to resident calls
Assist Health & WEellness Director with training staff
Desired Qualifications:
At least 2 years of progressively responsible leadership work experience in the long-term care industry or related field.
Active CPR certification is required.
Active Medication Technician Certification
Has basic knowledge and understanding of dementia and general medical problems encountered by the elderly required.
