Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inside Salesperson will work with clients to provide a successful customer experience. The Inside Salesperson will generate sales of all product lines offered. Will work with existing customers and secure prospective new customers and clients by phone, e-mail and direct office appointments providing detailed information on product specifications, services, pricing and delivery and install scheduling. Will focus on designers, remodelers, and select builders as well as retail customers. Will also work showroom hours including Saturdays. A comp day will be provided for Saturday hours.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional showroom experience for clients
  • Conduct sales presentation of products and services to customers
  • Assist customers on the showroom floor
  • Assist in answering phones
  • Assist customers over the phone
  • Assist customers via email
  • Attend training functions as required
  • Maintain and clean specific area of the showroom
  • Collect deposits and balances before delivery
  • Assist with inventory as required
  • Follow up phone calls to secure orders
  • Participate in after hour events and sponsorships as required
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Generate and develop new customer business accounts to increase revenue at a profitable level
  • Enter orders into computer system, work with production regarding order, delivery, installation
  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist in collections as necessary

Competencies/Skills/Abilities 

  • 3 - 5 years' experience/hands-on knowledge within construction industry product sales 
  • Self-motivated, driven to close sales
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside of the Company
  • Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Office 
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record
