Description:

Since Christmas Mass in 1948, the Most Holy Trinity has been worshiped at our parish. Today, Holy Trinity is a vibrant bilingual parish in which God is worshiped with love and reverence, while our joyful community is constantly formed in the faith, and serves with charity all those who need to receive the love of God.


Holy Trinity Parish is seeking a part-time Religious Education Assistant to work approximately 20-25 hours per week, including some weekends and nights. This is a non-benefited position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry (The Master, OCIA, etc)
  • Maintain attendance records for classes and Mass participation, this will include all of those in the RE program (2nd- 12th grade & adults taking sacramental preparation)
  • Create quarterly progress reports for families
  • Prepare and send communications, including emails, newsletters, and event reminders
  • Oversee the OCIA program paperwork
  • Serve as the main liaison for parents and RE Director (RE, Youth & OCIA)
  • Prepare materials for classes, meetings, retreats, & events
  • In charge of inventory resources
  • Translate the OCIA kids’ program on Thursday evenings (English to Spanish)
  • Any other duties assigned by the RE Director
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Work proficiently with Microsoft & Excel
  • Strong understanding of Catholic teachings, traditions, and catechetical methods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clergy, staff, volunteers, parents, and children.
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and committed to living out the faith.
  • Refrain from promotion or approval of, or the living out of, and conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the archdiocese of Denver or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.
