Job description

Protestant Administrative Religious Education Coordinator (PAREC)
Location: United States Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG Hawaii) - AMR, MPC, MPC-A, Fort DeRussy Chapel, and Helemano Military Reservation.
Position Summary
LPR International is seeking a qualified Protestant Administrative Religious Education Coordinator (PAREC) to support the USAG Hawaii Religious Support Office. The PAREC coordinates Protestant Religious Education programs, supports chapel ministries, prepares educational materials, organizes community outreach activities, and provides administrative support while working closely with the Garrison Chaplain, Director of Religious Education, COR, and Protestant ministry leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Coordinate Protestant Religious Education programs throughout the academic year.
โ€ข Plan, schedule, and execute regular and seasonal Religious Education activities.
โ€ข Maintain the Religious Education calendar, attendance records, and reports.
โ€ข Prepare correspondence, flyers, publicity, meeting minutes, and program documentation.
โ€ข Coordinate Vacation Bible School, holiday programs, community events, and resiliency activities.
โ€ข Prepare curriculum materials, organize supplies, and reset classrooms.
โ€ข Support deployment readiness events and background check administration.
โ€ข Submit required reports and maintain organized program files.
Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข Formal training in Protestant Christian Religious Education or related field.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
โ€ข Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Experience supporting military chapel programs.
โ€ข Experience coordinating Religious Education programs.
โ€ข Experience working in a pluralistic environment.
Work Schedule
โ€ข Variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on approved calendars and events.
