Administrative Secretary for Pupil Services & Registration (Class I Secretary - 12-Month Position)

The Nazareth Area School District is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused professional to serve as the Administrative Secretary for Pupil Services & Registration. This position plays a vital role in supporting student enrollment, pupil services operations, special education processes, and district-level administrative functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the District's Central Registrar and coordinating student enrollment, withdrawals, transfers, and residency verification.
  • Providing administrative support to the Director of Pupil Services.
  • Assisting with special education and school psychology documentation, timelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining confidential student records and databases.
  • Coordinating communication with families, staff, agencies, and community partners.
  • Providing cross-training support for district office operations and reception services as needed.

Qualified candidates will possess strong organizational, communication, customer service, and technology skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with student information systems, office software applications, and confidential records management is preferred.

Both internal and external candidates should access the Frontline portal and follow the directions posted to submit their interest in the position. Any candidate not in the Frontline system must submit the following forms:ย  Act 34 (PA Criminal History) and Act 151 (PA Child Abuse History) clearances, FBI criminal background check, and Act 82 form.ย  Additional paperwork will be required prior to/upon hire , including but not limited to PA School Health Record with TB test, Act 168 for current and previous employers and I-9 form with appropriate work authorization documents and updated clearances current within one year.

Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the terms and conditions currently in effect between the Nazareth Area School District and the Nazareth Area Educational Support Personnel Association. The 2026-2027 salary for this position is $60,701.
