Chemours is seeking a Regional Product Line Commercial Leader - FKM to join our growing Advanced Performance Materials (APM) business. This position will have responsibility across North America and Latin America, and will be based in Wilmington, DE reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Director.

The Regional Product Line Commercial Leader - FKM is responsible for commercial execution of the Viton FKM Fluoroelastomers portfolio strategy across the Americas region, ensuring alignment with global product strategy while driving revenue growth, market share expansion, pricing discipline, and profitability. This leader will proactively develop and strengthen relationships with key direct customers as well as downstream partners, fostering collaborative engagement and long-term partnerships across the fluoroelastomers value chain.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Strategy Alignment & Execution

    • Translate global product strategy (GPM) into a clear regional execution plan

    • Ensure alignment of regional sales actions with global product priorities (pricing, supply, growth)

    • Feed regional market intelligence, competitive insights, and demand signals back to GPMs and segment leaders

    • Lead regional execution of CTB actions and contribute to inventory/supply strategy

  • Commercial Performance Ownership

    • Own regional product line financial performance including sales revenue, variable contribution, and AR/PD performance

    • Drive disciplined execution against regional sales plans and targets

    • Ensure pricing execution within GPM guidelines (floor pricing, pricing quality)

  • Demand Generation & Growth

    • Drive product line growth across the region through new account acquisition and application development

    • Develop and execute regional growth strategy aligned with product priorities

    • Expand market share and penetration in priority segments

  • Pipeline & Sales Execution Discipline

    • Build, manage, and continuously improve the opportunity pipeline for the product line

    • Ensure rigorous pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity conversion

  • Customer & Market Leadership

    • Build and own relationships with key customers and strategic accounts

    • Lead or support contract negotiations and commercial agreements

    • Ensure strong downstream engagement and value chain alignment

    • Act as the voice of the customer/market within the product organization

  • Pricing & Supply Coordination

    • Set regional target pricing in respective product line

    • Lead quarterly refresh on target pricing and monthly tail pricing analysis, execute pricing actions

    • Drive regional supply allocation decisions

    • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, product management, & commercial excellence teams to resolve issues and improve customer experience (quality, delivery, constraints).

  • Commercial Excellence & Analytics

    • Partner with Commercial Excellence & Growth Acceleration Leader to execute market intelligence and competitive intelligence initiatives

    • Own strategic key account planning and execution, driving aligned growth, revenue, and long-term customer value

    • Clear understanding and ownership of regional market share

    • Ensure use of standard processes, tools, and performance metrics

  • Team Leadership & Capability Building

    • Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team of FKM-focused Account Managers.

    • Coach and mentor account team, building strong commercial capabilities and business acumen

    • Drive sales excellence, accountability, and process discipline while fostering cross-functional collaboration and execution culture

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline

  • 7+ years of business/marketing/commercial background with customer-facing experience

  • Foundational knowledge of polymers and/or elastomers

  • Strong financial acumen, analytical and criticalthinking skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • High motivation and self-awareness

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence

  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of time

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Prior technical, commercial, or operations experience with FKM/fluoroelastomers

  • Commercial product management experience

  • Familiarity with SAP and SFDC

  • Experience in SOX-controlled environments
