Spectra is seeking a Acceptable Knowledge Expert for Idaho Falls, ID.

Data Analytics Specialist for the Acceptable Knowledge Organization.
Seeking a motivated and logical data analyst to perform actions and duties associated with Process Knowledge (PK) and Acceptable
Knowledge (AK) information within the Contact Handled (CH) Transuranic (TRU) Programs Department. The successful candidate will
work with collaborating teams to extract, analyze, and summarize data from multiple production, historic and document databases in
support of investigations, issue resolutions, document generation, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Run and create Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts to extract required information
* Clean and format data for department use using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
* Create clear and concise documentation
* Support department requests in a timely manner
* Collect, summarize and document information concerning generating facilities, processes, physical and chemical characteristics, and
associated regulatory requirements for transuranic waste
* Enter information about historical records into a tracking database
* Evaluate container information to qualify containers for specific treatment processes, waste streams, etc
* Interpret requirements (e.g. Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC), WIPP Waste Acceptance Permit
(WAP) and regulations (e.g. RCRA. TSCA) regarding CH TRU Program waste management
* Initiates Nonconformance Reports as necessary and resolves other AK issues
* Support the annual WIPP audit
* Interface with other IEC groups (e.g. Document Services, Information Technology)
* Interface with external organizations including other DOE entities to facilitate incoming waste shipments
* Interaction with the Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO) and Department of Energy (DOE) Idaho (ID) personnel related to CH transuranic
(TRU) waste as required
* Assist with training and qualification of other AKEs
* Complete assignments efficiently and in a timely manner
Must be capable of qualifying as a Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) AK Expert (AKE). An AKE is primarily responsible for evaluation,
summary, and generation of historical information from multiple waste generators and generation processes at the Idaho National Lab
(INL), as well as off-site generators who transferred transuranic waste to the INL.
Skills and Abilities:
* Experience with data analysis
* Knowledge of SQL and use in data access (or equivalent) and analysis
* Experience writing database queries using Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) or Oracle SQL
* Experience using Microsoft Access
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Strong knowledge of document generation and Microsoft Word.
* Proficient in data management including data wrangling and analysis
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Strong attention to details
* Exceptional problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, proven ability to handle multiple priorities/projects, and ability to receive
and respond to feedback
* Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams
* Must be able to obtain Q Clearance

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):
* Bachelor's degree in data analytics or
* Bachelor's degree in science or mathematics and at least four (4) years of applicable data analytics experience.
