Job description

Habitat America is a growing third party property management company largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations at a large, fast-paced apartment community of approximately 500 units, Broadview and Woodcliffe, in Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing the leasing team, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the overall success of the property through strong leasing performance and resident retention.
The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, sales-driven, and experienced in multifamily property management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily leasing operations for a 500-unit apartment community
  • Lead, train, coach, and schedule leasing staff
  • Ensure leasing goals, occupancy targets, and renewal objectives are met
  • Conduct tours and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process
  • Monitor traffic, leasing activity, market trends, and competitor pricing
  • Maintain strong resident relations and assist with retention initiatives
  • Review lease files and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations
  • Coordinate marketing efforts, outreach, resident events, and online reputation management
  • Collaborate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure apartment readiness and smooth move-ins
  • Assist with reporting, lease audits, renewals, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office environment
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of multifamily leasing experience required
  • Previous leasing management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices
  • Experience with property management software preferred (Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Weekend availability required
