The Real Estate Property Leasing Manager is responsible for maximizing the lease value of the Meijer/Fresh Thyme property by maintaining maximum occupancy levels to drive revenue for the company. By researching local markets and analyzing business trends, the manager will identify successful lease opportunities to help build traffic inside Meijer/Fresh Thyme stores and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.


What You'll be Doing:

  • Responsible for leasing and the management of leases for all in-store Meijer other property Meijer leases to outside entities.
  • Manage Meijer In-Store Real Estate Program, Traditional Real Estate leasing
  • Negotiate andfinalizelease/license agreements for all Meijer and Fresh Thyme locations.
  • Establish andmaintainproductive relationships with all Meijertenants&StoreLeadership Teams.
  • Market vacancies and manage Real Estate inventory levels to drive consistent revenue for the business.
  • Coordinatewith Lease Administration teams to ensuretimelylease set upmanageAR functions.
  • Travel to required market areas to Identify and develop new potential tenant opportunities to promote the growth of the In-Store Tenant program andmaintainfull occupancy at traditional RE locations.
  • Coordinate with Meijer Properties Management Team toensuretenantsbuild-out in existing stores, decommissioning, maintenance, and new stores and remodels are done economically andtimely.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years experience in real estate related functions with at least three (3) years in retail real estate.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written and communicative skills .
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and lead/influence client base.
