The Leasing Manager at Glen Pond is an expert at driving results to maximize occupancy levels at each managed property. They bring exceptional experiences to life every day for our current and future residents through active engagement in the marketing of properties and service to customers. The Leasing Manager provides oversight of and also executes on leasing, sales and service needs. They do not directly manage people.
The Leasing Manager partners with prospective residents through the leasing workflow and responds to resident and property maintenance needs, requests, and concerns. The Leasing Manager plays a critical role in helping drive results in the properties they support by training and mentoring fellow team members to achieve and maintain maximum occupancy of assigned properties and drive strong resident satisfaction results. They are primarily stationed at one site that is in need of additional Leasing strategy attention, dependent on business needs.

Starting pay $19 per hour (and more based on experience) + unlimited commissions!
  • Potential to earn up to $4.65 more per hour with commissions and incentives.
  • Live and work with Goldmark and receive up to a 20% rent discount.

Job Duties Include:
  • Use proven sales skills to lease apartments.
  • Advertise and market properties daily by use of social media and other marketing platforms.
  • Tour and present the property and available apartment homes with prospective residents and apply product knowledge to close the sale.
  • Daily use of customer management systems to build relationships with prospective and current residents ensuring all communication is documented.
  • Manage the leasing and renewal process from start to finish in accordance with company procedures and fair housing requirements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain maximum occupancy of properties by achieving or succeeding relevant operational metrics, including but not limited to:
  • Prospect, Showing and Closing Ratio.
  • Resident Renewal Ratio.
  • Assist with advising residents on rent collection options and basic process questions.
  • Conduct property, building, and apartment inspections to help ensure the attractive appearance, including picking up trash and reporting maintenance needs.
  • May assist in the ongoing training of Leasing Specialists at assigned properties.

Experience and Education:
  • A high school degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in property management or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong sales skills and aptitude with confidence and drive to close the sale.
  • Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
  • Rent Cafe CRM Software preferred.
  • Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) or similar certifications are desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance per company requirements.
