S teelcase is hiring a Regional Education Manager located in the Dallas area covering north Texas , including the Lubbock/ Midland / Odessa area , and Arkansas market s ! In this role, you will be accountable for pursuing and growing e ducation vertical sales in both the K - 12 and Higher Education segments by engaging with Steelcase dealers, customers and the A & D community .

You will stay abreast of E ducation trends and identify opportunities to apply Steelcase's research , insights and solutions to help customers solve problems. You will develop deep business relationships with education customers and key influencers to secure product specifications and work with our Steelcase dealers to close sales. You will be based in the greater Dallas area and cover an assigned larger geographic region .
A critical component of this role is working with our distribution partners, Steelcase dealers, and managing a longer, complex selling cycle. You will act as a designated subject matter ( design, technical and learning product s) expert as needed, as well as a coach/mentor to others ensuring that market/account plans are executed and business is secured .
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience selling to K-12 and higher education
Desired Skills and Experience
- Communication skills, relationship building skills, people skills, desire to expand your network, product knowledge, organized, SalesForce experience, someone who likes to plan and experience creating and executing a sales strategy.
