The Business/Regional Development Manager- Residential Sales (West) is responsible for driving sales growth for Elkay's residential product assortment within the builder, designer, and kitchen & bath showroom spaces. The BDM is responsible for a geographic scope consisting of the West region. This individual will lead our residential sales strategy with our rep agencies; ensuring execution of strategic growth initiatives, and expanding relationships with our showroom partners. The BDM will execute market strategy to convert single family builder business through a combination of direct relationship ownership, leading our builder initiative with our rep agencies, and partnering with showrooms to drive builder engagement.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage the Elkay residential sales strategy and execution with our rep agencies, providing direction, training, and tools to ensure delivery of initiatives.
  • Convert new single family builder business to drive specifications and sales to Elkay showroom partners.
  • Manage customer relationships with key showroom personnel and execute strategic growth initiatives with showrooms to gain increased displays, stock, and joint pull through sales activities.
  • Drive increased specifications with residential architects and designers through brand awareness activities, product presentations, active involvement in networking associations, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure successful residential new product launches including completing product training, launch events, and ensuring display gains.
  • Collect, analyze and report on residential trends and provide market information, including competitive information, programs and pricing to product management and marketing.
  • Manage implementation of showroom programs, promotions, and CRM adoption

Education and Experince

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or equivalent field required.
  • 8+ years of previous field sales experience - in either construction or showroom sales &/or sales management role.
  • Experience calling on home builders and A&D community preferred
  • Location in territory- West coast
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 50% regionally

Salary Range: $112,900 - $155,238

The compensation range(s) identified above is a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors.Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
