About the role

Reworld is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Material Processing Facility Regional Leader to oversee the operations and performance of material processing facilities within a specified region. The Material Processing Facility Regional Leader will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and compliant processing of materials, the safety of our employees, and the achievement of production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple material processing facilities within the region, ensuring the highest level of operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Safety and Compliance: Oversee safety protocols, compliance with environmental regulations, and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Production Management: Monitor and optimize material processing operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and cost-effective processes.

Budget and Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the facilities in the region, including budget development and cost control measures.

Team Management: Build, develop, and lead a team of facility managers, operators, and support staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to excel in their roles.

Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate facility performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions.

Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable flow of materials, parts, and services required for facility operations.

Environmental Responsibility: Promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices within the facilities.

Customer Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.

Reporting: Generate and present periodic reports on facility performance, operational metrics, and budgetary status to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business management) or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of leadership experience in material processing, manufacturing, or related industries.

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety procedures.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Financial acumen and experience in budget management.

Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field.

Experience in waste management or energy-from-waste industries.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and process improvement methodologies.

Pay Transparency


Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $150,500.00 - $215,100.00 USD per annum
