About the Role
NaturesPlus is seeking an experienced and driven Central Region Sales Manager to lead and accelerate sales growth across the Central United States. This role plays a critical part in executing regional sales strategy while contributing to broader national sales objectives. The Central Region Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue, strengthening market presence, and building long-term partnerships with key retail accounts and regional chains.
This position oversees a team of outside sales representatives, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure consistent execution and continued professional development. Through regular field ride-alongs, strategic guidance, and ongoing support, the role ensures the sales team is motivated, aligned, and positioned for success.
In addition to team leadership, the role is highly hands-on and focuses on expanding distribution, opening new accounts, and increasing penetration of new and featured products throughout the region. The Central Region Sales Manager will collaborate closely with senior sales leadership and cross-functional partners, participating in management meetings and National Sales Summits to help shape future sales initiatives, promotional strategies, and new product launches. This role also represents NaturesPlus at regional and national trade shows, acting as a brand ambassador and trusted industry partner.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Account Development
  • Drive overall sales performance and revenue growth within the Central Region
  • Develop and expand key accounts and regional retail chains
  • Identify, open, and grow new accounts throughout the territory
  • Increase distribution, visibility, and penetration of new and featured products
  • Occasionally travel to open or uncovered territories to visit accounts, support customers, and maintain momentum in the region

Sales Team Leadership
  • Manage, guide, and motivate a team of outside sales representatives
  • Conduct regular ride-along "work-withs" to assess performance, provide coaching, and support ongoing development
  • Set clear expectations, goals, and accountability standards for the regional team
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Participate in management meetings and National Sales Summits
  • Collaborate with the broader sales leadership team on:

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing outside sales representatives, preferably in the natural products, consumer goods, or related industry
